Cons: One trunk arrived with a slight indentation from shipping as it wasn't completely surrounded by styrofoam when shipped - not worth returning. The only other "con" I can find is the fact that it would be nice to have a "handle pad" available as an option. Comments:
I spent months looking for trunks to store genealogy materials and books in that I could move around by myself, but were strong enough to hold the files and books.
After looking at all of the flimsy trunks and the complaints from other users, I was lucky to find this site and read about these trunks.
While they are not the cheapest ones you will find, they are cheaper than many of the trunks that CLAIM to be heavy duty trunks. These are the only trunks that use screws as opposed to rivets and have strong wheel assist systems that allows an individual to move them about without assistance. I see that others have suggested that the "wire" handle is hard on the hands when you carry these trunks, I'd rather have this than a leather handle that can rip or fail.
